njoy running membership includes Tuesday Track, Wednesday Tempo and Saturday Long Runs.  Tuesday Track workouts last May through August.  Wednesday and Saturday runs both last April through October.

Tuesdays: Track Workout

Speed workouts on a track to help you develop speed.

MAY 4 THROUGH AUGUST 31

WHERE:  6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. at the Chicago Ave. Track, located behind the Contemporary Museum of Art and to the west of LSD.  Rain or shine run, with the exception of lightening.  Runs include; warm-up, drilling, speed intervals and cool-down. 

*Equinox members leaving from the Gold Coast location, it is a 10 minutes jog to the track.  Validated parking is available in the 900 building for these members.



Wednesdays: Tempo Run

Learning to run at higher levels of intensity for longer periods of time

APRIL 21 THROUGH OCTOBER 6

WHERE:  Arrive warmed up and ready to run at 5:45 p.m. sharp from Monroe Harbor, located at Monroe and LSD turnabout.  Rain or shine run, with the exception of lightening.  Most runs heading southbound throughout the season and last between 40 and 60 minutes and is a time based run.  Periodically, there will be hill workouts on this evening run. 

*Equinox members leaving from the Loop location, it is a 15 minutes jog to Monroe Harbor with traffic.  Validated parking is available in the evenings for these members.



Saturdays: Long Run

Runs designed to enhance endurance

APRIL 17 THROUGH OCTOBER 9

WHERE: This run will start and finish at the North Avenue Beach Boat House.  Dress appropriately for the weather and be ready to run at 7:30 a.m. sharp.  All runs will last a minimum 60 minutes and build up to 2 hours.  Depending on your training, the runs with either be time or distance based workouts.

*Equinox members can get validated parking for FREE up to 2 hours, and $1.00 for 3 hours from the Lincoln Park Club. 

**Those marathon training; times will exceed the 2 hour mark.
***Each week the direction of the run alternates from north to southbound.
