GREATEST RACING MOMENT:  Living my childhood dream of racing in Ironman South Africa.  It was everything I had ever hoped it would be and more.  You get to spend a lot of time with yourself and learn a lot in return.  Not to mention, that doing it in Africa was incredible!

GREATEST RACING MOMENT:   Qualifying for Boston in my very first marathon.  I was dedicated to my training, and well prepared by racing in several half marathons beforehand.  Based on my race times, I knew qualifying was a possibility, but as a first-timer, my goal was simply to finish.  At mile 17 I passed the 3:40:00 pace group and realized that I was on my way to Boston.  I threw my arms over my head when I crossed the finish as if I had just won the Olympics.  Just goes to show how good preparation can produce unimaginable results.
